The Film Albuquerque Office received a silver Excellence Award from the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) for the “We Are Albuquerque Film” campaign – a full-page print design featuring diverse faces of actual crew members practicing their craft across a bright and exciting grid.

Prominently displaying the words “We Are Albuquerque Film,” the ad was placed in multiple trade magazines targeting decision makers in the film industry. Supporting the hiring of Albuquerque’s highly-skilled local film workforce, the campaign introduced above-the-line players to the city’s talented, diverse, and enthusiastic film labor teams.

“The Albuquerque community and our local crew and talent play a huge role in filming here, and we want to share that locally and globally through our efforts,” said Albuquerque Film Office Liaison Cyndy McCrossen. “As the industry continues to grow, we want to expand our relationships and strengthen our role as the conduit between the City, residents, and the entertainment industry.”
